I often receive questions about where I come across the photos I choose to upload for my blog. most of them come from this wonderful collective fall blog network Conifer-Creek, but others do not.

Some of my followers also question why I have a lack of credit/sources on most of my pictures. The answer is simple, but I agree it’s not the perfect way to do things. I’ll start by saying, by no means am I trying to slight any person who creates these wonderful photographs. If ever asked, I would undoubtedly take the time and go back to credit a post if asked by the author. Admittedly, I save all of my past + future posts to my computer, but I promise I’m doing it for my own sanity, and not to gain thousands of followers, like other blogs who like to claim the pictures as their own.

My BIGGEST pet peeve is blogs that post duplicate pictures, so in my attempt to make october-glory as flawless as possible, I’ve come up with an intricate numbering & organization system to keep track of my posts, see here:

and of course there’s no humanly way to save all the source info without creating some sort of painstaking database. 

so, love me or hate me (I hope you love me lol), I’m trying my best to make this the best blog possible, and I have no ill-will or ulterior motives for posting the way I do. it keeps me organized, and it seems to keep the majority of my followers happy, so this is how it’ll stay. :)
